Quality Systems Consulting Group offers free Economical & Safe driving lessons

Each week beginning in April 2008 Quality Systems Consulting Group will be offering free driving lessons to licensed drivers in their own vehicles. We use our own proprietary 20-point checklist of economical and safety driving tips to be sure each driver knows the many ways to drive safely and economically.

The lessons take approximately 45 to 60 minutes and are offered as a first-come, first served basis by registering via qualitysystem@comcast.net. Certificates are given to drivers completing the course.

By changing our driving habits it is possible to save up to 37% (based upon aggressive driving versus moderate driving).

If you are an aggressive driver and are now spending $50 a week on gas, your new costs would be $36 a week or $60 each month (1 month is 4.3 weeks).  Not bad for just driving better!

Quality Systems Consulting Group Cares For the Environment

President Bill Goss is concerned with energy waste, production of greenhouse gases and landfill waste.

With a grass-root approach, Bill Goss is giving an energy efficient Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL) to as many friends, neighbors and colleagues as possible (over 2,000 as of April 14, 2008). Bill hopes people will find out for themselves just how nice these light bulbs are, how much money they save and how much better they are for the environment compared to standard incandescent light bulbs.

Bill and associate Peter Croteau gave 100 free energy-efficient light bulbs to visitors at their table at the February 13, 2008 "Green Business Expo" at the Rupert Nock Middle School in Newburyport. Many thanks to OSRAM SYLVANIA for their donation of many of these light bulbs.

With first hand awareness of the benefits these Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs offer, Bill believes many of the recipients of his gift will replace the standard incandescent light bulbs in and around their homes with the Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs.

STATISTICS:

CFL’s save 2,000 times their own weight in greenhouse gases

One CFL can save $60 in electricity costs over the lamp’s lifetime

CFL’s last between 5 to 10 times longer than incandescent lamps

CFL’s operate at a low temperature, saves on air conditioning costs
